Contact Lenses

Contact Lenses for Cataract Patients

Cataract surgery involves removing the lens of the eye and replacing it with a plastic lens implant called an intraocular lens. There are also specially designed soft contact lenses for children and adults when, after cataract surgery, an intraocular lens has not been implanted. These soft lenses are the leading treatment option for pediatric patients recovering from cataract surgery.

SilSoft and Silsoft Super Plus Contact Lenses

SilSoft and SilSoft Super Plus are specially designed soft contact lenses for children and adults who have had cataract surgery where an intraocular lens has not been implanted (aphakia). In many cases, SilSoft Super Plus contact lenses are the only choice for the correction of infantile aphakia.
