1 Stand-alone tests were performed with exposure to renu fresh (ReNu MultiPlus) solution and OPTI-FREE RepleniSH against approximately 500,000 challenge organisms of Acanthamoeba polyphaga (Ros) and castellanii (ATCC 30868) trophozoites and cysts per ml of solution. Log reduction values were measured at hours 1, 2, 4, 6 and 24. Results show log reduction measured at the manufacturers’ recommended soak time (4 hours/renu fresh [ReNu MultiPlus] solution, 6 hours/OPTI-FREE RepleniSH).
