Technolas 217A Excimer Laser
Using innovative true scanning/flying spot technology, the Technolas® 217A already a leading laser throughout most of the world -- allows surgeons in the United States to treat myopia ranging from -1.00 to -11.00 diopters and less than 3.00 diopters of astigmatism, and hyperopia up to +4.00 diopters with up to +2.00 diopters of hyperopic astigmatism. The Technolas 217A was the first laser ergonomically designed for LASIK (Laser in-situ Keratomileusis) and features a proven LASIK algorithm with active eye tracking. More LASIK procedures are done with Technolas lasers worldwide than with any other system.
Take a closer look at the Technolas 217A laser's cutting-edge, ergonomic design.
