Eye Concerns
Imperfect Vision
If the images you see are blurred, one or more of the following four conditions could be responsible.
Nearsightedness
For a nearsighted person, close objects are clear, but distant objects are blurred and difficult to distinguish.
Farsightedness
Technically known as hyperopia, people who are farsighted have blurred vision at all distances unless they make a constant effort to focus.
Astigmatism
For people with astigmatism, all objects both near and far are distorted.
Presbyopia
Presbyopia is a natural occurrence in which the eye can no longer tightly focus up close. It commonly develops in people around the age of 40.
