2004 Annual Report, Notice of Annual Meeting and Proxy Statement

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Bausch & Lomb (NYSE:BOL) today released its 2004 Annual Report, Notice of Annual Meeting and Proxy Statement.  The materials, available on the Investor Relations page of Bausch.com, were mailed today to shareholders.

The Bausch & Lomb annual meeting of shareholders will be held Tuesday, April 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Rochester Institute of Technology, Building No. 70, B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences, 20 Lomb Memorial Drive, Rochester, New York.  Shareholders will be asked to elect three directors, ratify the appointment of independent accountants, and approve directors' proposals to amend the Company's Certificate of Incorporation and By-Laws to declassify the Board of Directors.
