FOR RELEASE THURSDAY, JANUARY
26, 2006
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Bausch & Lomb expects to report preliminary unaudited fourth quarter and full year 2005 operating results in early March, depending on the status of the previously announced independent investigation being conducted by the Audit Committee of the Company's Board of Directors into revenue recognition practices at its Korean subsidiary. The Company cannot at this time predict with certainty when the investigation will be substantially complete. However, based on the current status of the investigation, it expects to be in a position to report the preliminary results, including the estimated financial impact of the matters under investigation in Korea, by early March.
