The Bausch & Lomb Experience
“I would enthusiastically recommend Bausch & Lomb to any prospective
intern/co-op student. The work I did this summer was directly aligned with my
major and I was treated in many instances as a full-time engineer with real
projects and real responsibilities. The variety of projects really helps to
keep things interesting so that you’re always learning something new. The
freedom I was given to take a more proactive and leadership role in several
areas of various projects truly helped me grow as an engineer. Bausch &
Lomb is full of intelligent, talented, and friendly people who are genuinely
happy to teach, help, and guide you through a project or task. It is easy to
see that Bausch & Lomb, as a company, places a good deal of value on the
internship program and also values all their employees.”
Dan Barrows, Plastics Engineering
University of Massachusetts (Lowell)
"My experience at Bausch & Lomb gave me much needed experience with
patient contact and research studies. In addition, I met people from all areas
of the company and around the world. I've made some life-long friends and was
exposed to experiences that I could never have learned in a
classroom."
Stephanie Su, RD&E
New England College of Optometry
“The Bausch & Lomb internship program has been truly excellent. Few
places, if any could have offered me international work experience, schedule
flexibility for summer coursework, fun and interesting internship events, and
also a meaningful project to work on. I was very grateful for the internship
opportunity, and the experience it has given me. I am thankful for all that has
been done for me this summer and would highly recommend this internship program
to anyone seeking a positive and challenging internship experience.”
John Boyd, Quality Engineering
Iowa State University
"Working for Bausch & Lomb was a fantastic experience. It was the
perfect internship to leverage what I learned in the first year of my MBA. The
projects are completely hands-on and made a direct impact to the
organization."
Rodrigo Llaguno, Sales Operations
Harvard Business School
"This internship was one of the best experiences of my life. I learned
so much more than I would in a normal summer job or in four years of schooling.
Thanks Bausch & Lomb for giving me this opportunity!”
Sue O’Brien, Microbiology
University of Miami
"I was given work that was vital to the function of Bausch & Lomb
and was considered an invaluable part of the Bausch & Lomb team. Before my
Bausch & Lomb internship I was worried that the "real world" would
not accept me. These fears were soon quelled when I entered Bausch & Lomb's
friendly work environment. I am now confident in my ability to succeed after
graduation."
John Laboda, Global Supply Chain
University of Rochester
Bausch & Lomb is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
