Stuart Heap is corporate vice president and global president, Vision Care, for Bausch & Lomb. He was named to these posts in 2008. He is responsible for the company’s contact lenses, lens solutions, and vision accessories on a worldwide basis.
Prior to joining Bausch & Lomb, Mr. Heap served as CEO of Regent Medical, the surgical supplies manufacturer, from 2004 to 2006, and as CEO and president of SSL-Americas, the consumer healthcare products company, from 2002 to 2004.
From 1981 to 2002, he held positions of increasing responsibility with CIBA Vision Corporation. Mr. Heap was a group vice president and president of its Global Contact Lens Division, led production and research and development at the company’s Frankfurt, Germany facility, and served as the head of global marketing, among other roles.
Mr. Heap holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Salford University (U.K.).
