Using flying spot technology the Technolas® 217z Zyoptix® System, the world's leading wavefront-guided laser for personalized vision correction, allows surgeons in the United States to treat myopia up to -7.00 Diopters and astigmatism up to -3.00 Diopters. The Technolas 217z Zyoptix® System combines both a 2mm and 1mm truncated Gaussian beam, with an active eye tracker for fast treatment times and a smooth stromal bed.
