eyeTELLIGENCE™ and More in the Windy City

Dear Eye Care Professional:

On Wednesday, Oct. 24, we announced in partnership with IBM the introduction of our eyeTELLIGENCE™ applications, available exclusively on our Stellaris Elite™ vision enhancement system. These applications, which run on the IBM cloud, will deliver first-in-class efficiency features that provide expedited technical service and support plus the ability to synchronize data and preferred setting across multiple Stellaris Elite systems (to learn more, click here). We are thrilled to have the opportunity to show you how we are investing in the future of eye surgery and for ophthalmic surgical platforms with these applications and with our entire surgical portfolio at the AAO Annual Meeting later this week in Chicago.

This year, we are also featuring our recently released enVista® toric MX60T intraocular lens (IOL), which is Bausch + Lomb’s clear, glistening free and rotationally stable acrylic intraocular lens (IOL) for astigmatism correction. For more about this new lens, click here.

In our Retina portfolio, we will be featuring the Bi-Blade® dual port vitrectomy cutters available exclusively on our Stellaris Elite system. These cutters take efficiency and control to a new level by providing excellent flow and cutting efficiency in 25- and 27-gauge options.

Please stop by our exhibit (#3044) for a personalized, hands-on demonstration of the eyeTELLIGENCE applications. You can also register to join one of our 30-minute hands-on wet lab sessions where you can test-drive our latest surgical technologies, including the enVista toric IOL and the Bi-Blade cutters, by visiting www.testdrivebausch.com. Surgeons who have taken advantage of this opportunity in the past appreciate the experience and typically schedule an evaluation in their operating room soon afterwards. We look forward to demonstrating the future of your practice when we see you in Chicago.

In addition to the experiences offered at our booth, we hope you’ll take advantage of the following:
