BAUSCH + LOMB LAUNCHES -2.75D CYLINDER POWER FOR BAUSCH + LOMB ULTRA® FOR ASTIGMATISM CONTACT LENSES, THE FASTEST GROWING FAMILY OF MONTHLY PLANNED REPLACEMENT LENSES

BRIDGEWATER, N.J., June 18, 2018 – Bausch + Lomb, a leading global eye health company, today announced the availability of Bausch + Lomb ULTRA® for Astigmatism contact lenses in cylinder power of -2.75D, which is available across all power ranges in the portfolio, from +6.00D to -9.00D, making it the only monthly planned replacement lens with this cylinder power available in the fit set. The fastest-growing family of monthly planned replacement lenses,¹ Bausch + Lomb ULTRA for Astigmatism lenses combine MoistureSeal® technology, which helps to maintain 95 percent of lens moisture for a full 16 hours, ² and OpticAlign™ design, engineered for stability to promote a successful first fit.³ This latest expansion will allow eye care professionals to fit more of their astigmatic patients with these lenses to provide all-day comfort, stability, and consistently clear vision.³

In a survey of contact lens wearers who were prescribed Bausch + Lomb ULTRA for Astigmatism, 91 percent of patients agreed that the lenses are comfortable all day long and 93 percent agreed the lenses reduce halos and glare, even in low-light conditions.⁴
