Post-Ocular Surgery

• LOTEMAX® SM should not be used if you have an infection in your eye.
• Before using LOTEMAX® SM, turn the closed bottle upside down and shake once to fill the bottle tip. Do not allow the dropper tip to touch any surface, as this may contaminate the gel.
• Do not wear contact lenses when using LOTEMAX® SM when your eyes are inflamed.
• Contact your doctor if pain develops or if redness, itching, or inflammation becomes aggravated or worsens.
• If you use LOTEMAX® SM for longer than 10 days, your doctor should monitor pressure in your eye.
• Medications such as LOTEMAX® SM may result in cataract formation, or may delay healing after cataract surgery.
• There were no side effects related to LOTEMAX® SM that occurred in more than 1% of subjects dosed three times a day in the clinical studies compared to placebo.

• LOTEMAX® Suspension should not be used if you have a viral or fungal infection in your eye.
• Long-term use of LOTEMAX® Suspension could result in glaucoma with optic nerve damage, abnormal vision, cataracts, additional eye infections, perforations in cases where the eye coverings are thin, making viral eye infections worse, delaying wound healing, and increasing blister formation after cataract surgery.
• When using LOTEMAX® Suspension, do not allow the dropper tip to touch any surface, as this may contaminate the suspension.
• Do not wear soft contact lenses when using LOTEMAX® Suspension.
• Contact your doctor if pain develops or if redness, itching or inflammation becomes aggravated or worsens.
• If you use LOTEMAX® Suspension for longer than 10 days, your doctor should monitor pressure in your eye.
• The most common side effects in clinical studies were abnormal vision/blurring, burning on installation, eye inflammation, discharge, dry eyes, watery eyes, foreign body sensation, itching, redness, sensitivity to light and significant elevation of IOP.

• To avoid contamination, do not touch your eyelid or surrounding areas with the tip of the tube. The cap should remain on the tube when not in use. Wash your hands before using LOTEMAX® Ointment.
• Do not use LOTEMAX® Ointment if tamper evident skirt is visible on bottom of cap.
• Do not wear contact lenses when using LOTEMAX® Ointment. Do not touch the eyelid or surrounding areas with the tip of the tube. The cap should remain on the tube when not in use.
• Contact your doctor if pain develops or if redness, itching or inflammation becomes aggravated.
