REFERENCES: 1. Bruno and Ridgway Research Associates Inc. Consumer preference study among 201 consumers who have tried Biotrue. December 2010. 2. A total of 93 contact lens wearers who were considering discontinuing their lens wear were recruited via online survey to participate in a study conducted by Bausch + Lomb. Participants were mailed samples of Biotrue and instructed to use the product for 2 weeks. At the end of the study period, a follow-up survey was conducted to determine the impact of Biotrue usage on intent to discontinue lens wear. 3. Results from a clinical trial in which a total of 291 subjects were enrolled across 15 investigative sites, wearing a range of marketed soft contact lenses and using various soft contact lens care products for approximately 7-11 days. 4. Results from a branded survey questionnaire in which 389 users (and 20 eye care practitioners) of various multi-purpose contact lens solutions, including OPTI-FREE, Clear Care, and ReNu products, used Biotrue multi-purpose solution for 2 weeks and reported their experiences. Among 237 patients self-identified as having dry eye symptoms. 5. A 14-investigator, multi-site study of Biotrue MPS in which a total of 361 subjects were enrolled wearing a variety of silicone hydrogel lenses. Biotrue MPS satisfaction survey was conducted after approximately two weeks.
