Medicaid Update

There has been some confusion about Bausch + Lomb Medicaid participation given a recent announcement from Bausch Health – a wholly separate company.

Here are the facts:

  • Bausch + Lomb participates in all U.S. government programs, including Medicaid and 340B.
  • Bausch + Lomb is not Bausch Health – these are two separate companies.
  • Bausch Health recently announced it will no longer participate in Medicaid and 340B.
  • We understand there may be confusion due to the similarity in names, but please be assured this decision by Bausch Health does not impact Bausch + Lomb products
  • Please direct any questions regarding Bausch Health’s decision to withdraw from Medicaid and 340B to Bausch Health.
