Caring For Reusable Contact Lenses with Biotrue® Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution

Biotrue® Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution can be used to condition, clean, remove protein, disinfect, rinse and store reusable contact lenses for all-day comfortable wear. Formulated to provide additional moisture* to contact lenses, this solution is enhanced with an electrolyte, an antioxidant† and 25% more‡ hyaluronan (HA) to keep more moisture on lenses.*

How to Use Biotrue® Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution

Always wash and dry hands before handling lenses.

STEP 1: Place at least 3 drops of Biotrue® Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution on each side of the lens surface and gently rub for 20 seconds.

STEP 2: Thoroughly rinse each side of the lens for 5 seconds with Biotrue® Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution.

STEP 3: Place lenses in a clean, empty storage case and fill with fresh Biotrue® Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution. Soak for at least 4 hours.

Your contact lenses are now ready to wear. If any debris remains, rinse lenses with Biotrue® Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution prior to insertion.

Always use fresh solution and discard solution from lens storage case after each use

Storing Lenses in Biotrue® Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution

If not wearing immediately, store lenses in a clean, closed lens case filled with fresh Biotrue® Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution.

Do not store your lenses in simple saline in place of Biotrue® Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution. Saline solution will not disinfect.

Lenses may be stored in the unopened case until ready to wear, up to a maximum of 30 days. If storing lenses for longer periods of time, clean and disinfect with fresh Biotrue® Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution prior to lens insertion.
